The Months Go By
Crisp mornings ……..
A new year is dawning
So begins the months of the year!
White frost glistens, in early dawn
January is born.
Valentine hearts warm, a white dove
February in love.
Bulbs are stirring, animals are yawning
March hare calling.
Spring lambs jumping, Easter eggs wars
April showers pour.
Bank holiday ribbons, new queen parade
May day made.
Summer solstice, playing in the hay
June's longest day.
Strawberry picking, farm in full swing
July summer begins.
Schools out, enjoy the sun, sea and sand
August holiday tanned.
New uniform to big, school returns
September lessons learned.
Autumn haze, conkers and laces
October's cold faces.
Chill in the air, crisp golden leaves
November's cool breeze.
Pudding, presents and Santa sleigh
December Christmas day.
Dusk returns ……..
The year is at a close
What will you propose!!!!!
